The California PopTop is the only helicopter cover on the market that can virtually eliminate the heat build-up within the helicopter. The material we use blocks 99.8% of the sun’s UV rays leaving your interior as cool as if your aircraft was parked in a hangar all day.

The California PopTop™ helicopter cover was designed to protect the interior area, cockpit instruments and electronics from heat build-up and damaging UV rays. It is ergonomically designed so it can be installed or removed in less than a minute…BY ONE PERSON!

Made with an innovative light-weight super-strong material, it blocks 99.8% of the Sun’s UV rays. The material blocks and reflects so much sunlight that your cockpit will stay cool, even on a 100 degree day. It will feel as if your helicopter was parked in a hangar.

The California PopTop material has an excellent compression ratio. The PopTop helicopter cover storage size is about twice the size of a football, permitting it to fit easily into the storage compartment.

Respect for the Wind
Our covers are designed to fit ‘Glove-Tight” to eliminate damage to the aircraft from cover movement. Our H125 cover was installed on an aircraft, loaded onto a flat-bed truck and driven 45 miles down the Los Angeles freeway at speeds of 75 mph without any damage to the cover or aircraft. (The wind experienced was equivalent to a category one hurricane.)
Note: Ensure straps of the cover are fully tightened when installed.

For Dew, Frost and Snow Protection
The material resists water penetration yet is breathable, allowing vapor to pass through. This makes the California PopTop™ an ideal product for keeping overnight dew, frost and snow off your windows during those non-summer months. Remove the cover and you’re ready to go in less than a minute.

For Sun Protection
The material blocks 99.8% of the sun’s damaging UV rays and virtually eliminates solar heat build-up within your cockpit.

Cleaning
Our material is a non-woven fabric. It has no fibers to trap dirt, so you can hose it off or hand rinse. If using an industrial tumble washing machine, use a gentle cycle with a 1/4 cup detergent. Do not use bleach or a DRYER as it may damage the cover! Air dry only. Hang the cover up to let dry.
